{"id":1148,"date":"2008-06-05T03:03:37","date_gmt":"2008-06-05T08:03:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/musicabrasileira.org\/?p=1148"},"modified":"2013-06-04T22:13:43","modified_gmt":"2013-06-05T03:13:43","slug":"aline-de-lima-acai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/musicabrasileira.org\/aline-de-lima-acai\/","title":{"rendered":"Aline de Lima: A\u00e7a\u00ed"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Finding Her Way in Music<\/h2>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" alt=\"A\u00e7a\u00ed\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/musicabrasileira.org\/WordPress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/alacai.jpg?resize=402%2C392&ssl=1\" width=\"402\" height=\"392\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After her first successful release\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/musicabrasileira.org\/?s=aline+de+lima\"><em>Arrebol<\/em><\/a>, Aline de Lima shows up with a nice successor.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/musicabrasileira.org\/?s=aline+de+lima\"><em>Arrebol<\/em><\/a>\u00a0benefited from the presence of producer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/musicabrasileira.org\/?s=vinicius+cantuaria\">Vin\u00edcius Cantu\u00e1ria<\/a>\u00a0and some members of his band. On this second release,\u00a0<em>A\u00e7a\u00ed<\/em>, Aline shows up with her own band. Based in Paris, France, the singer from Maranh\u00e3o decided to stay connected to her Brazilian roots that lay close to the Amazon River.<\/p>\n<p>She wrote most of the songs herself, both music and lyrics. It\u2019s funny to hear her even sing in Swedish in “Som Om Ingenting Har H\u00e4nt” from Swedish bossa nova fan and performer Johan Christher Sch\u00fctz. Aline lived in Sweden for a while before she moved to France. As part of a medley, “Mulher Rendeira” is written by Z\u00e9 do Norte (Alfredo Ricardo do Nascimento). Another non-original is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/musicabrasileira.org\/?s=gilberto+gil\">Gilberto Gil<\/a>\u2019s “Ladeira da Pregui\u00e7a,” and there\u2019s a poem from Fernando Pessoa included in “Adeus Solid\u00e3o.” The rest of the repertoire is from Aline\u2019s hands and proves her quality as a composer and lyricist. The participating musicians are also Paris based with Anthony Winzenrieth on guitars, Natalino Neto on bass, Illya Amar on the vibraphone and percussionists Inor Sotolongo and J\u00falio Gon\u00e7alves.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<em>A\u00e7a\u00ed<\/em>, Aline de Lima shows she found her way in music. It looks like she has a steady and smooth way ahead of her.
