An excellent Bebu Silvetti production, who also wrote
the arrangements,
Dos Enamoradas only has the unfortunate mixture
of some Brazilian songs added along with the original project. Blame
it on the recording label to think about it perhaps. The first ten
songs are absolutely
incredible
in Simone's voice. The remaining
five
songs,
though
very good,
include "Procissão," "Quem Te Viu,
Quem Te Vê" and "Danadinho Danado," which totally
clash with the romantic mood of the rest of the CD. The change in
producers is
obvious.
If
you do not have Simone Bittencourt de Oliveira, where those
songs came from, this is an excellent buy. Think of it as two CDs
in one package. This was Simone's last album with Columbia.
