Now a household name, Simone solidified her continuing association with Mílton Nascimento throught the song he wrote for her giving Cigarra its title. Arranged by Pedro Cezar Willcox, the album contained songs by Sueli Costa, Gonzaga Jr. and Roberto Carlos. An eclectic release, Cigarra even had some Brazilian rock, as in "Petúnia Resedá," "As Curvas da Estrada de Santos" and "Sangue e Pudins." It was, however, with the highly sensual ballad "Medo de Amar Nš 2" that Simone touched hearts again. The opening introduction with spoken words raised the temperature every time the song was performed. Tracks (time: 33'06")
