Simone & Roberto Ribeiro: Brasil – Export 73 Agô Kelofé – À Bruxelles

A Release to the Foreign Market

À BruxellesThis LP was originally released in Canada in 1973 and finally got a CD release in 2003. Simone only sings in the first four songs and the last. The remaining tracks are by Roberto Ribeiro and João de Aquino. Artistic direction was given to Hermínio Bello de Carvalho. The slow arrangement in the first part of “Voltei pro Morro” is a nice touch. However, it seems clear that this release was meant to feature sambas to a foreign market.
